ZOJIRUSHI

The Japanese company Zojirushi has a long tradition. It has been operating on the market for more than 90 years and specializes mainly in the production of thermoses, thermal products and travel dishes.

The beginnings of Zojirushi go back to 1918, when the Ichikawa Brothers brand was founded in Osaka, which started with the production of vacuum bottles. The high quality of the products won the hearts of thousands of customers, and already in 1948 the company started the production and sale of vacuum-insulated thermoses. The products made the company a leader in the Japanese market and allowed it to enter the international market. In 1961, the company adopted the new name and logo of Zojirushi Corporation, by which we know it today.

In the mid-1960s, the company was the first in Japan to introduce automated equipment for the production of vacuum products. Thanks to this, Zojirushi thermoses have reached a completely new level of quality that was not available before.

Zojirushi did not lag behind in the following years and already in 1981 presented the first thermos with a metal vacuum flask. Due to its lightness and strength, the product has won the recognition and love of consumers all over the world.

Shortly after the metal thermos, the Zojirushi thermos appeared on the market, characterized by a smaller size, an ergonomic design and the ability to open and close with one hand. Thanks to this, customers can enjoy their favorite drinks anytime, anywhere. Thermal containers for food have been developed for the same purposes, which have very convenient inner bowls for separating food. Zojirushi plans to continue to delight its customers with the high quality and functionality of its products.
